Kindergarten to 5th Grade Transportation Information
Kindergarten to 5th grade students who reside anywhere in the Winona School district are eligible for FREE transportation to and from Ridgeway Community School on First Student buses overseen by Winona Area Public Schools. Ridgeway students do not change buses but are transported directly to and from Ridgeway Community School with other Ridgeway students. these buses do not transport students to other schools in the district. Divorced and separated families who have joint custody of their children are able to receive bus serves to and from each parents house. To register for this service click on the WAPS Join Custody Registration Form. For more information on Winona's Bus transportation services go to the WAPS Transportation Webpage. If you have difficulty completing any of the transportation forms or with your busing schedule please contact the Ridgeway Community School office at 507-454-9566 or . Those families who live in the northern part of the Houston Public Schools district may be eligible for transportation to and from Ridgeway Community School in a school van. Ridgeway's provides limited transportation to and from our preschool program with the use of a school van. During the 2023-24 school year transportation is being provided for a per ride fee of $2.75, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays only. This transportation is provided from designated licensed day cares and meeting points between the east end of Winona and Pleasant Valley.
