The goal of the RISE Program is to provide additional, research-based math and reading instruction to students so they begin to build the necessary skills to reach grade level benchmarks.  The RISE Program also strives to build confidence in students who are unsure about their math and/or reading abilities.  Most reading groups come to my classroom for 3 - 4 days a week for 30 minute sessions.  Most of the math groups come to my classroom for 3 days a week, for 30 minute sessions.  

A little about me:  I grew up in Northeast Iowa in a large family.  I have an elementary education degree from Winona State University.  My husband and I have four, adult children and two, fabulous grandsons.  Some of my interests include walking, reading, boating and spending time with family and friends.
